Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how The Dot and The Line ("the App", "we", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you play the App on your Android device.

The App is published on Google Play under the package name com.hkgroups.pspk.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Locally on your device (never sent to us)

• Game progress: high score, currency balance, games played, equipped skin, owned skins, achievements unlocked, leaderboard history, replay traces, daily quest progress, login streak.
• Settings preferences: sound on/off, music on/off, haptics on/off, difficulty, player display name.
• In-app purchase entitlements (e.g. ad-free flag).

All of the above is stored in Android SharedPreferences ("dotline_prefs") on your device. We do not have a server, do not operate a backend, and do not transmit any of this data to ourselves.

1.2 Sent to third-party services

• Facebook Audience Network — when you view an ad (rewarded video, interstitial), Facebook may collect your Android advertising ID, IP address, device model, OS version, and ad interaction events. See Facebook's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Games Services — when you sign in to Play Games, Google receives your Google account ID and associates leaderboard scores with your Play Games profile. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing — when you make an in-app purchase, Google processes the payment and stores the transaction against your Google Account. We never see your payment details.

2. How we use this information

• To deliver core gameplay (track high scores, persist settings, show progress).
• To show ads — both rewarded ads you opt-in to (in exchange for a free reward) and a single interstitial after every third game-over.
• To process in-app purchases via Google Play Billing.
• To submit your score to the optional Play Games leaderboards if you sign in to Play Games.

We do not profile users, run analytics on you, or sell any data. The App does not contain Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or any custom telemetry.

3. Ads

Ads in the App are served by Facebook Audience Network. FAN may use your device's advertising identifier to personalize ads. You can reset or limit ad tracking at any time via Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Buying the in-app product dotline.remove_ads permanently removes the interstitial ad. Rewarded ads remain available because they are opt-in and grant in-game rewards.

4. Children's privacy

The App is rated suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to:

• Request access to any data tied to you.
• Request deletion of your data — note that all in-app data lives on your device, so uninstalling the App or using Settings → Reset All Progress deletes it instantly.
• Opt out of personalized ads via Android system settings.
• Withdraw consent for third-party SDKs by uninstalling the App.

6. Data retention

Local game data is retained on your device until you uninstall the App or reset progress in Settings. Third-party services (Facebook, Google) retain data per their own policies.

7. Permissions the App requests

• INTERNET + ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — required for ads, leaderboard submission, and IAP.
• VIBRATE — required for in-game haptic feedback.

The App does not request access to contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos, calendar, or storage.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
