1. What information we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server. It does not ask for an email, phone number, account, name, or any other identifier.
The match data you enter inside the app — team names, player names, scores, ball-by-ball events, and match history — is saved only on your device's internal storage in private app files. It is not synced, uploaded, or backed up to any service we operate.
2. Permissions we request
Gully Cricket Scorer requests no special Android permissions. It does not require Internet access, location, camera, contacts, microphone, or storage permissions to function.
When you tap “Share to WhatsApp” or any other share action, the app hands a generated scorecard image to Android's standard share sheet. Where that image goes next is governed by the app you choose (WhatsApp, email, etc.) and its own privacy policy — not ours.
3. How we use information
Because we do not collect any information, there is no usage, profiling, advertising targeting, or behavioural tracking performed by this app.
4. How we share information
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any user information to third parties, because we do not collect it in the first place.
5. Third-party services and SDKs
The current release of Gully Cricket Scorer does not include any third-party analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, advertising SDK, social login SDK, or any other library that would transmit data off your device.
If a future release of the app ever integrates such a service, this privacy policy will be updated before that release, and the updated effective date will be displayed at the top of this page.
6. Children's privacy
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because no personal information is collected, the app complies with the U.S. COPPA, the EU GDPR-K, and the Indian Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 by default.
7. Data security
Match data is stored in your device's private app sandbox, accessible only to the Gully Cricket Scorer app and protected by your device's standard operating-system security model. Because nothing is transmitted off the device, there is no network-side data to secure.
If you back up your device (Google Drive auto-backup, manual file backup, etc.), match data may be included in your backup — those backups are governed by the backup provider's terms, not ours.
8. Your choices and rights
You always have full control over your match data:
- Open Settings → Clear all data inside the app to permanently delete every match, every player record, and every saved setting on the device.
- Uninstall the app from Android Settings to remove all of its data (active match, archived matches, settings) immediately and irrevocably.
- Use Settings → Export backup to save a copy of your data as a JSON file you control. You can delete that file at any time.
Because we do not hold any of your data on our side, there is no “delete my account” or “export my data” request for us to process — everything is in your hands directly.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the new effective date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes (for example, the introduction of any third-party data collection) will be highlighted at the top of the policy and announced in the app's release notes on the Google Play Store.
10. Contact
If you have a question about this privacy policy, the app's data practices, or anything else, please write to hemanth.guvvala@ibsplc.com. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.
